IT’S Volunteer Week – and Healthwatch Warrington are taking the opportunity to thank their team of volunteers.

THERE have been no new deaths reported at Warrington Hospital of patients who tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll remaining at 118, an increase of four from last week.

A mobile COVID-19 testing facility will return to Warrington this Sunday (May 31) until Tuesday (June 2) when anyone over the age of five who is displaying symptoms of coronavirus can apply online to get tested.

WHILE one more patient has sadly at Warrington Hospital after testing positive for COVID-19, with one new case also confirmed, the downward trend of inpatient numbers is continuing.

IN-HOUSE COVID-19 testing will be “game changer” at Warrington Hospital when it is hopefully introduced in early June says the hospital’s Chief Executive Professor Simon Constable.
