No new Covid-19 related deaths but six new cases confirmed at Warrington Hospital

NO new Covid-19 related deaths have been reported at Warrington Hospital in the last 24 hours but six new cases have been confirmed in the town.

While three patients have sadly died in June, this compares to 34 in May, 92 in April and 7 in March.
A total of 126 patients have now sadly died at the hospital along with at least 96 people in local care homes, taking the town’s death toll to at least 222.
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases of Warrington residents reported at the hospital is now 794 – an increase of six from yesterday – a rate of 378.9 per 100,000 population.
It is the largest number of new confirmed cases in Warrington since seven were reported on May 27th.

Across the UK the Daily number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths was 181 taking the total number of deaths to 41,662.
The daily number of lab-confirmed UK cases was 1,425 taking the total number to 294,375.
