One more Covid-19 related death reported at Warrington Hospital

ONE more patient has sadly died at Warrington Hospital after testing positive for Covid-19.

A total of 129 patients have now sadly died at the hospital along with at least 96 people in local care homes, taking the town’s death toll to at least 225.
The latest death was reported on a patient who sadly passed away yesterday Tuesday (June 16).
Six patients have now sadly died in June, this compares to 34 in May, 92 in April and 7 in March.
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases of Warrington residents reported at the hospital is now 799.
*Due to a discrepancy with yesterday’s figure on the Government website which reported 800 yesterday, it is not possible to confirm if there have been any new cases.

Across the UK the Daily number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths was 184 taking the total number of deaths to 42,153
The daily number of lab-confirmed UK cases was 1,115 taking the total number to 299,251.
