ONE more COVID-19 positive patient has sadly died at Warrington Hospital while 164 new cases have been reported in the town in the latest daily update from Public Health England.

EIGHT more COVID-19 positive patients have sadly died at Warrington Hospital since last Friday’s update, with inpatient numbers climbing to 117 with 16 currently in intensive care, as the town moves into a very high-risk tier 3 at midnight tonight.

MORE than 5,000 people have now tested positive for COVID-19 in Warrington since the start of the pandemic with a 152 new cases reported in the latest daily update, while one more death has sadly been reported at the town’s Hospital.
