ONE more COVID-19 patient has sadly died at Warrington Hospital, while 157 new cases have been reported in the latest data from Public Health England, as the UK recorded its highest death toll since June at 241.
Meanwhile, the 157 (133) new cases mean the total of confirmed cases in Warrington since the start of the pandemic is now 4,490 (4,333) – 2,138 per 100,000 population.
The seven day average as of October 13 was 98.9 (102.3).
The latest death took place yesterday, Monday. A total of 17 patients have now died at the hospital in the month of October.
According to the latest data from Public Health England there have been 175 (175) deaths in Warrington, 83.3 per 100,000 population.

Across the UK the daily number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths was 241 (80), taking the total number of deaths to 43,967 (43,726).
The daily number of lab-confirmed UK cases was 21,331 (18,804), taking the total number to 762,542 (741,212).
Across the country, there are 5,608 (5,608) patients currently in hospital and 592 (592) patients in ventilator beds.
