A flood appeal set up to help raise funds for victims of flooding in Warrington has raised over £5,000 in less than 24 hours, with more funds coming in.
THE University of Chester is set to vacate Padgate Campus and move to Warrington town centre – with the former teacher training site likely to be sold for future housing development.

FLOOD waters have reached record levels in some parts of Warrington as homes have been evacuated with the council and agency partners having to prioritise areas where flooding has been so severe there has been danger to life.
FIREFIGHTERS attended to reports of residents needing to be rescued from flooding at a property on Winwick Road, Warrington shortly after 10am this morning.
