Firefighters tackle Land Rover Discovery blaze at Croft

TWO fire crews were called out to deal with a Land Rover Discovery which was on fire near junction 11 of the M62 at Croft last night.

Crews from Birchwood and Warrington were called out to the incident at around 8pmfollowing reports of a Land Rover Discovery being on fire near Junction 11 of the M62.
The crews found the unoccupied 4×4 vehicle well alight on the A574 Warrington Road in Croft, Warrington.
Firefighters used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire and make the vehicle safe.
One of them wore breathing apparatus.
The owners of the vehicle were in attendance.
Highways England and the police attended to deal with traffic.
Firefighters were in attendance for around 45 minutes.
