A FUTURE Conservative Government would drastically scale back the
intrusive and ineffective “Big Brother” state, according to a
Warrington party spokesman.
Old Hall inquiry to re-open
THE public inquiry into controversial plans to convert one of
Warrington’s most historic buildings into apartments is to re-open
tomorrow (Wednesday) – about four months after it was dramatically
halted.
Town centre youth club plea
A SURVEY of young people in Warrington revealed that 54 per cent of
them would like a youth club in the town centre – and 28 per cent
of them regard “hanging out” and chatting with friends as their
favourite free time activity.
