THOUSANDS of people flocked into Lymm village for the annual duck race, which was blessed with sunshine on the Easter Bank Holiday Monday.

Organised by Lymm & District Roundtable, the event helps raise thousands of pounds for local good causes as plastic ducks, sponsored by villagers and local businesses, are poured into the lower dam.
The glorious Spring Bank Holiday weekend weather ensured a bumper turnout as youngsters enjoyed fairground rides in the village centre before and after the big event.
Thank Duck Race raised £11,000 for charity and local good causes. Congratulations to the winners:

1st Place – Duck 210
2nd Place – Duck 610
3rd Place – Duck 570

Super Duck Winner (£1,000 donation to charity) – Lymm Fish Bar
Corporate Winner (£500 donation to charity) – Ladies gardening services
