Chiminea fire spreads to shed

TWO fire crews from Penketh and Warrington were called out when a Chiminea fire spread to a garden shed at Great Sankey.

The incident took place shortly after 5.30pm yesterday when firefighters were dispatched to reports of a garden fire in Wilmot Avenue.
On arrival the crews found that a chiminea which was well alight and had spread to an adjacent shed.
Firefighters used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and were detained at the scene for around 30 minutes.
