Competition for young movie fans

YOUNGSTERS in Lymm are being invited to become movie-makers in the run-up to this year’s Lymm Historic Transport Day.
Organisers have got together with illustrator Kate Hulme and Just English Tuition to stage a competition open to anyone under 16. To enter, all youngsters have to do is design a storyboard of their film idea.
Kate Hulme and Just English Tuition are running workshops at Lymm Heritage Centre on Monday and Wednesday, April 9-11, to help children get started.
To find out more or book a workshop, go to www.justenglishlymm.co.uk/upcoming-event/
Children can even request a visit to their school.
Prizes include tickets for the whole family for Historic Transport Day on Sunday, June 24 and the chance to be photographed with a movie-themed car – and there are cash prizes too.
More information and the full competition rules are available at www.justenglishlymm.co.uk or www.lymmtransport.org.uk or www.lymmhic.co.uk
Entries should be posted to Just English or emailed to [email protected]  by the closing date of June 10.
