New look for social club

A WARRINGTON social club is celebrating a fresh new look following a major facelift.
Pierpoint and Bryant Social Club in Latchford has been transformed and has now reopened its new look Concert Room. DV8 Designs, architectural and interior designers, were brought in to give the Concert Room a complete overhaul providing a new, fresh, up-to-date feel, making it user-friendly for its existing and potential users.
They produced plans outlining a new layout that would make the most of the available space and created mood boards showing fabrics for curtains, reupholstery and a new stage backdrop, wallcoverings and suitable floorings making the room warm and modern.
Meanwhile MD Hotel Interiors, furniture contractors, managed the whole refurbishment programme, appointing various local contractors at the relevant stages ensuring a smooth and speedy turnaround.
The clean, fresh look along with the new entertainment systems make the room more appealing for party and celebration hire with the stage providing the perfect opportunity for live entertainment. The room resembles a high quality hotel function room and would now be suitable for corporate hire and event screening.
Lee Birchall, MD at Birchwood based DV8 Design said: “We were set the task of bringing the social club into the 21st century and we are extremely proud to have been involved in a project which has enhanced an important community facility.”
Club steward Ron Waldron said: “The transformation is outstanding and it has been great to work with local companies.”
