THE Stylistics – one of the biggest-selling soul groups of all timed – are to play Warrington’s Parr Hall on Wednesday, November 27.
Formed in Philadelphia in 1966. Their first hit was “You’re a Big Girl Now” and was swiftly followed by their first album, from which came
“Stop, Look, Listen to your Heart”, “You Are Everything and Betcha By Golly Wow”.
Over the years, the line-up has changed but Herbert Murrell and Airrion Love remain from the original group.
Friends since junior high school, Herb and Airrion have managed to keep their institution of 70’s music alive.
