POLICE are appealing for help in tracing a missing man last seen in Warrington.
Nigel Jones was last seen at around 8.15am today, in the Lovely Lane area of Warrington.
At the time that he was reported missing, the 63-year-old was believed to be wearing a white and red denim jacket and jeans. Nigel also wears glasses.
Nigel is believed to be from the Liverpool area and is known to make frequent use of the bus network.
Inspector Liam Keenan said: “We are following a number of lines of enquiry to locate Nigel and, as part of our investigation, we are asking the public to contact us if they have any useful information relating to his whereabouts or if they have spotted him whilst out and about.
“I would also like to ask that anyone with access to dashcam or CCTV footage please review their videos in case they have picked up Nigel in the time that he has been reported missing.
“In light of the cold weather, I would also like to take this opportunity to please ask local residents to keep an extra eye on any outbuildings in case Nigel has taken shelter. I would say the same for any bus stops as Nigel does make frequent use of local bus networks.”
Anyone with any information in relation to Nigel’s whereabouts is asked to contact Cheshire Police via the website, or on 101, quoting incident reference number IML-2443644.
