POLICE are seeking witnesses following the arrest of a 34-year-old woman on suspicion of theft following a spate of incidents at Warrington Hospital.
The woman was arrested following seven incidents of theft involving jewellery and one theft of cash as reported by Warrington Worldwide last week.
Cheshire Police have today confirmed that at around 4.05 pm on Saturday, 21 February 2026, police were called following reports of theft at Warrington Hospital.
The caller reported that there had been seven incidents involving the theft of jewellery and one incident of theft of cash during the week in question.
Officers attended the hospital and engaged with those involved. Following enquiries, a 34-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of theft. She has since been released on conditional bail pending further investigation.
Efforts to locate the missing jewellery are ongoing, and enquiries are continuing.
