Collision between car and coach at Culcheth

TWO fire crews were called out following reports of a collision involving a car and a coach at Culcheth, Warrington.

The collision took place at around 07:30 on Broseley Lane, Culcheth, yesterday, Thursday.

One fire engine from Warrington and one fire engine from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service attended at the scene of a road traffic collision.
Crews released the occupant of the car and handed them over to the care of paramedics.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson confirmed: “At around 7.30am on Thursday 20 November, police were called to a collision on Broseley Avenue, Culcheth.
“Officers attended and found there had been a collision between a blue Renault Clio and a coach.
“The driver of the car, a 21-year-old woman, was treated at the scene by paramedics, her injuries are no believed to be serious.
“The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident, it reopened at 10.20am.
