POLICE are appealing for help in finding a missing 86-year-old man from Warrington.
Geoffrey Whitfield was last seen around 8pm last night (Wednesday) at his address in Latchford.
CCTV enquiries have established a sighting on the junction of Chester Road and Slutchers Lane in Warrington at 2.10am this morning (Thursday November 20). He was last seen wearing blue jeans, white trainers and a black three-quarter length coat.
Inspector Dan Knox said: “This is highly out of character for Geoffrey and we would ask people who live in the area to check their properties including sheds and outbuildings etc
“We are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and would urge anyone who sees him to contact us.”
The police helicopter has been used in the search for Geoffrey.
