WARRINGTON’S first-ever Restaurant Week is set to kick start next week, from Monday 6th to Sunday 12th October, and Time Square food and drink outlets will be right at the heart of the action, with special offers.
Time Square has become a hub for shopping, dining, and leisure since it opened in 2020, bringing new energy to Warrington town centre. From a quick bite at the Warrington Market Cookhouse to an evening out with friends, the development offers a range of experiences for visitors of all ages.
Cllr Hitesh Patel, Cabinet Member for Economy, Growth and Quality Work, said: “Restaurant Week is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate Warrington’s food and drink scene. Time Square has become a real destination for Warrington, supporting both independent traders and well-known names, and this event is another opportunity for people to experience it.
“It’s great to see venues across Time Square taking part, offering something for everyone, from families to friends meeting after work.”
Organised by Warrington Business Improvement District (BID), Restaurant Week highlights the town’s food and drink businesses through a series of special menus and exclusive offers.

As part of the week, the award-winning Cookhouse at Warrington Market will be offering a family-friendly deal – kids eat free, with one child’s main meal under 16 available with every adult main purchased from the same trader. The offer is valid from Monday, 6th to Thursday, 9th October, and includes traders such as Tam’s Takeaway, Tamarind Thai, That Ziki, Café at the End of the Universe, Patterson’s, Louie’s Pizza, and Dark Side of the Spoon. Each trader’s opening hours may vary.
For after-work drinks and evening outings, Time Square’s venues have special offers throughout the week. Costello’s Bar is serving Aperol Spritz for £5.95, a Midweek Wine Club where guests buy two large glasses of wine and enjoy the rest of the bottle free from Tuesday to Thursday, and Fizz Friday with a 75cl bottle of prosecco for £12.95 from 5 pm.
Gravity Social is offering 2-for-1 pizzas and discounted munch boxes, alongside a first look at dishes from its new menu. The Botanist is providing a set menu deal with two courses for £20 or three courses for £25.
Cllr Patel added: “Restaurant Week is also about backing our local businesses, driving footfall and shining a spotlight on what makes Warrington unique. I hope it becomes a regular fixture that continues to grow year after year.”
Time Square is easily accessible, with nearby parking and public transport options. Visitors are encouraged to book in advance, where possible, to ensure a table or place at participating venues.
