WARRINGTON Lions International recently hosted a Ladies Day Race Afternoon Tea, helping raise funds for local Sea Cadets.

In collaboration with Warrington Sea Cadets, the Lions provided afternoon tea for over 80 guests, all of whom were elegantly attired.
The event was held at the newly refurbished venue at Cinnamon Brow Farm Club, which provided a stunning backdrop for the occasion.

New Lion President Carol Kilgannon, along with Pam Queeney and Chris and Dave McDermott, expressed immense pride in the event’s success, which raised £1700.
The funds will be allocated to Warrington Sea Cadets and to procure specialised equipment for a local individual affected by Locked-In Syndrome.
President Carol said, “We extend our sincere gratitude to Jim and Lindsey, who managed the horse racing activities, and to all the businesses that sponsored the event.
“Numerous additional events are scheduled for the upcoming year.
“The more funds we generate, the greater our capacity to support local organisations within the Warrington area.
“We appreciate the ongoing support from all participants,” added Carol.
