CELEBRATE the 80th anniversary of the end of World War 2 by enjoying a picnic in the park at Warrington Town Hall.
The VJ Day Picnic in the Park takes place on Saturday August 16 at 2pm, set against the beautiful backdrop of the Town Hall’s rear lawn.
Tickets are selling fast so it is advisable to book soon.
Guests will be treated to a delightful afternoon tea picnic box for just £17.50, which can be enjoyed at the provided tables and chairs. A fully stocked bar will also be available on-site.
The afternoon will feature live 1940s-style entertainment by the talented vocalist, Lucy, who will help bring the spirit of the era to life.
