I can’t profess to being one of the biggest Take That fans in the world – but from what I saw at Warrington Parr Hall, Re-Take That delivered a crowd-pleasing show.
RE-Take That is described as “the ultimate Take That party night, bringing the world’s biggest boy band’s greatest hits to life – live on stage,” and the boys certainly pleased the mainly female audience at the Parr Hall – and even had me dancing on my feet by the end of the show -.
Original Take That member Jason Orange has also been quoted as saying “it is just like seeing his band mates on” as they perform a range of Take That favourites including Greatest Day, Shine, Never Forget and many more – so who am I to argue with that?
All of Take That’s million sellers plus Robbie Williams’ massive solo hits featured in the show – including Greatest Day, Let Me Go, Shine, Never Forget, Let Me Entertain You, Rock DJ, Love My Life, Angels and more, including some of the newer stuff I’d never heard before.
Described as a band “created by Take That fans, for Take That fans – a lot of love and affection has been invested in musicianship, costumes, dance routines, stage craft and production values to provide audiences with the greatest day of our lives.”

Seeing “Robbie” back performing with the boys” after his fine solo slot certainly was a crowd-pleaser, especially for the two women who got birthday shout outs and a peck on the cheek!
Once again the Parr Hall delivered as a great venue for this kind of 80s nostalgia!
Band members “Gary” and Robbie” also had more than a passing resemblance to their namesakes in looks and moves to add to the occasion.
