LOCALLY-based care provider Bluebird Care St Helens & Warrington has won the award for ‘Best Employer Commitment to Training and Careers’ at the St Helens Cares Festival.
The home care provider – with a ‘Good’ rating by the Care Quality Commission – has been recognised for their commitment to their Care Assistants and ensuring their safety and wellbeing throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
Care Assistants at Bluebird Care St Helens & Warrington have regularly gone above and beyond to care for customers throughout the local community, and in return receive benefits, job security, training, and career progression for their efforts.
The home care provider’s award win is also a testament to the intensive induction and training programme for new joiners, as well as refresher training for long term Care Assistants. A robust Equality and Diversity system is also in place, whilst staff are included in the organisation’s mission statement and are always given a voice in key decisions.
Growth, success, and quality care have followed for the home care provider, with the Bluebird Care office now also providing their care services in the Warrington area.
A team of 55 staff members currently work at Bluebird Care St Helens & Warrington, including care assistants, care mentors, team supervisors, customer care managers, training and development coordinators, and directors.
