ORGANISERS have officially confirmed that The Great Warrington Duck Race will return this August to the Warrington Rowing Club on Howley Lane.

Following the massive success of previous events, the quirky community spectacle will once again launch hundreds of yellow rubber competitors into the River Mersey to raise vital funds for the Warrington Pyjamas for Christmas appeal on Sunday, August 16th.
The family-friendly gala kicks off at 2:00 p.m., offering an afternoon filled with fairground rides, independent food trucks, and local craft stalls. The competitive action begins at 2:30 p.m. with the sponsored Corporate Duck Race, followed by the Community Race at approximately 3:15 p.m.
“We are incredibly proud to bring this event back to the heart of Warrington,” said Cllr. Karen Mundry, Chair of the Duck Race organising group. “It brings the whole town together for a day of pure joy, all while ensuring that children in need across our borough receive a brand-new pair of pyjamas on Christmas Eve.”
