LATCHFORD Albion Giants racked up the points with a 66-4 victory over Cadishead Rhinos to continue their unbeaten start to the season.
They scored two tries in the opening five minutes through Finlay Crowe and Harrison Turner to put them in control, and scores soon followed from William Maguire, Josh Barnard and two more from Crowe who completed a first half hat-trick.
Maguire added three conversions and at half time Latchford held a commanding lead 30-0.
The second half continued in the same way with early tries from Turner, Barnard and Ryan Edwards extending the lead.
Cadishead never gave up and were rewarded with an unconverted try on the hour mark, but Latchford added to their tally in the closing stages with three scores from Maguire who finished the day with a personal haul of 26 points from four tries and six goals.
Further conversions were added from Dan Ridpath, Dave Manfredi and Theo Gabbott.
This weekend sees Latchford scheduled to travel to face Wigan St Patrick’s A in the NWML Shield.
