TWO 13-year-old boys who were seen throwing items off a bridge on Cromwell Avenue have been apprehended by Warrington Police.
Over the weekend police received several calls from residents regarding youths throwing items at vehicles from the red bridge on Cromwell Avenue.
Beat officers from Warrington West who investigated were able to stop and identify two youths involved in the incidents.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: “Following reports of children throwing items off the red bridge near Cromwell Avenue in Warrington police have advised two teenage boys.
“Police received a number of reports of items being thrown over the bridge at the weekend.
“At 17.51 pm on Sunday 23 March officers, following enquiries into another similar incident, stopped two 13-year-olds. They were taken home to their parents, and after admitting the other incidents, were spoken to in front of their parents. It was explained to the boys the potential consequences of their actions.
