UPDATED: FIREFIGHTERS helped rescue one casualty after a car collided with a parked vehicle at Burtonwood, yesterday, Sunday.
At 14:45 crews from Warrington and Penketh were called out to reports of a road traffic collision on Chapel Lane.
Police closed the road while the incident was dealt with.
Crews rescued one casualty from one vehicle who was passed into the care of paramedics.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson confirmed: “At 2.20pm on Sunday 23 February police were called to a collision on Chapel Lane, Warrington.
“Officers attended and found a blue Vauxhall Mokka, driven by a 43-year-old man, had collided with a parked car, a white BMW.
“There were no reports of any serious injuries, and the scene was cleared by 4pm.”
