ONE casualty who was overcome by smoke was taken to hospital following a fire at a terraced property in Bewsey & Whitecross, Warrington, earlier today, Friday.
at 09:50 three crews from Penketh, Lymm and Northwich attended reports of a fire at a property on Cromwell Court.
On arrival, they found smoke in the property and a smoke alarm sounding.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus rescued a casualty who was given oxygen before being taken to hospital by ambulance.
A high-pressure fan was used to clear smoke from the property. No details of the cause have been given
