WARRINGTON author Suzanne Ewart has published her second novel – a story that explores first love, love between friends, families and loving yourself enough to find happiness, even when it’s not what you imagined.
“Young Love” tells the story of Kelsey and Lewis who have been best friends for 10 years before, finally, he kisses her for the first time… and leaves for a job in New York the next day.
Counting down the days until he comes back, Kelsey busies herself with a new job, a handful of forgettable dates and awkward, weekly catch-ups with her mum.
But the days turn into months and the months into a year.
Something happened to Lewis on the night of their first kiss which changed everything. And when Kelsey learns the devastating truth, she has to make a choice. Should she keep pushing for her happy ending or give up on the love she thought would last forever?
Suzanne Ewart’s debut romance “One Month of You” won the eHarmony/Trapeze Books Write Your Own Love Story competition in 2019 and went on to be published in the UK and in the US. It was nominated for the Katie Fforde Debut Romantic Novel Award in 2022.

Before writing her first novel, Suzanne Ewart taught English to secondary school children She lives in Warrington with her husband and two children.
