FIREFIGHTERS were called out to reports of a smoke alarm sounding at a property in Penketh, Warrington.
At 17:36 yesterday (Friday) a crew from Penketh was called out to a property on Jubilee Avenue to reports of a smoke alarm sounding.
On arrival they found a heavily smoke logged property. The smoke is believed to have been caused by a toaster. One casualty suffered minor burns and was given first aid by firefighters prior to the arrival of paramedics.
