WARRINGTON South MP Sarah Hall has launched a community fundraising campaign to support residents affected by the severe flooding on New Year’s Day.

The devastating floods has caused damage to homes, in particularly the Bewsey area, leaving many families facing significant challenges.
Cheshire Fire & Rescue confirmed they had helped evacvuate more than 60 people from in and around the Bewsey area of town.
The New Year Floods Appeal aims to provide fast relief to those most affected, including food and supplies for those in temporary accommodation or affected by the floods, essential household items, and support for the repair and restoration of damaged properties.

The fundraising campaign invites donations from individuals, local businesses, and organisations. Sarah Hall has also called on local businesses to match donations where possible or provide in-kind support to further support the community.
The funds raised will be allocated transparently, with regular updates provided to ensure contributors can see the positive impact their generosity is having on the community.
