ONE casualty was taken to hospital after fire broke out in a property at Warrington last night.
The incident was in Newton Road shortly before 10.30pm and fire engines from Warrington and Lymm went to the scene.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the fire using a hose reel jet and gave medical assistance to the casualty until paramedics arrived.
A high-pressure fan was used to clear smoke from the property, and a thermal imaging camera was used to check for any remaining hot spots.
The cause of the blaze is believed to have been accidental.
