UPDATED: THE main swimming pool at Orford Jubilee Hub, Warrington has now re-opened following a burst pipe issue.
An issue with a burst pipe meant that the main swimming pool had to be closed, alongside the existing works that are taking place on the teaching pool.
But following essential maintenance works to repair a burst pipe, the main swimming pool at Orford Jubilee Hub reopened from 8.30pm this evening, Monday 21 October.
Works to increase the water temperature in the pool following a restart of the system is still continuing, so the Learn to Swim session has been cancelled, however the Adult Lane swim this evening will run as normal.
The teaching pool will remain closed while contractors work to fix the issue with the moveable floor, and the estimated completion for these works is the end of November.
