A carelessly discarded cigarette is believed to have started a wheelie bin fire close to a residential property in Orford, Warrington, last night.
At 22:45 one fire crew from Warrington was called out to reports of a fire near a property on Cowdell Street, Orford.
A hose reel jet was used to put out a wheelie bin fire, believed to have been accidentally started due to a carelessly discarded cigarette.
A nearby property was checked to ensure there was no fire spread.
