Firearms officers called out to reports of armed youths riding scooters at Lymm

TWO youths riding through the village on scooters with imitation firearms was one of a number of incidents involving anti-social behaviour at Lymm.

In a report to Lymm Parish Council PCSO Sharon Perrie reported that Firearms officers had been called out to the incident on Barsbank Lane in the village but there was no trace of the offenders

In another incident, a group of 10-20 youths had attempted to get into a horse box on Reddish Lane. Youths were searched and advised not to return.

In an unrelated incident, a group of 30 youths were playing music and being a nuisance at The Cross.

There were also two reports of an off-road bike riding around the field off Sandy Lane.

Other incidents of crime reported to the monthly meeting of the council included three males being abusive towards staff at premises on Higher Lane. The males had left prior to Police arriving.

Workmen had also tried to charge caller an excessive amount for work carried out at a property on Hardy Road. A visit was completed by PCSO and information passed on to WBC trading standards.
