Concerns for woman’s welfare following incident on Lovely Lane

POLICE were called to Lovely Lane, Warrington, earlier today (Tuesday) following concerns for a woman’s welfare.

A large police presence attended and remained at the scene near the junction of Lodge Lane and Bewsey Road.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “At around 11.47 am today, Tuesday 2 April, police were called to concerns for the welfare of a woman on Lovely Lane, Warrington.

“Officers attended and the woman was taken to Warrington Hospital as a precaution.

“Officers remain in attendance at the scene and are conducting enquiries to establish the exact circumstances of the incident.”
