Firefighters in breathing apparatus tackle kitchen fire

TWO fire crews in breathing apparatus tackled a kitchen fire at a heavily smoked logged property at Orford, Warrington, during the early hours of this morning.

At 00:20 crews from Warrington and Penketh were called to reports of a fire at a property on Toll Bar Road.

Firefighters entered a heavily smoked logged property wearing breathing apparatus. It is believed to have been caused by cooking as a pan was removed outside.

A high-pressure fan was used to clear the smoke. There was no report of any injuries.
