FIREFIGHTERS wearing breathing apparatus handed one casualty to the care of paramedics after cooking smoke logged a property at Bewsey, Warrington.
At 20:08 on Thursday evening, two crews from Warrington and Penketh were called to reports of smoke coming from a property on Delves Avenue.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property with a hose reel jet. They found no fire, but there was heavy smoke logging caused by cooking.
