LOCAL dancers are set to compete in the World Irish Dancing Championships 2024 that start this coming Sunday in Glasgow.
The Warrington-based Egan-Rogers Academy of Irish Dancing has a number of dancers located across Warrington and Lancashire who have qualified and will be competing to represent the North West Region.

The Egan Rogers Academy was “officially” born in September 2022.
It followed the decision by the Rogers Academy of Cheshire and the Egan Academy of Lancashire to amalgamate. The two Academies have a similar ethos in their love and support of the development, preservation and promotion of the tradition of Irish dance.
Lessons are available for children aged 2 years upwards to adult classes both beginners and advance dancers are welcome, pursuing Irish Dancing for competitive, noncompetitive and social purposes. Classes take place each week in Warrington
