Fire crews in breathing apparatus evacuate property and tackle kitchen fire

FIREFIGHTERS wearing breathing apparatus were called out to a kitchen fire at a property on Bewsey Street, Warrington, last night.

At 22:22 crews from Warrington and Penketh were called to reports of a fire at a residential property.

The fire was contained to a kitchen and the property was evacuated by fire crews. All occupants were safe and accounted for.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames. Crews used a high-pressure fan was used to clear the smoke from the property.
