Warnings issued after dangerous drugs identified at labs on Creamfields site and people become extremely unwell

CREAMFIELDS organisers took to social media to warn festival-goers of drugs found on site making people feel extremely unwell.

An on-site lab identified a cocaine/ketamine mix (sometimes known as Calvin Klein) which visually looks similar to cocaine and has caused some people to feel extremely unwell.
It may also cause severe anxiety, paranoia, psychotic episodes and violent behaviour.
A warning was issued for anyone who felt unwell or had friends who were unwell to go to the Welfare or Medical centre on site.

The on-site lab also identified beige Owl/Panama pills being sold as ecstasy and causing people to feel unwell – the actual content is still being analysed.
Anyone who had taken the drug and felt unwell and concerned was also advised to go to welfare or the medical centre.
Warnings were also issued about mixing Ketamine and alcohol, which is a dangerous combination which can result in overdose if taken in large doses or re-dosing quickly.
The welfare and medical centre are open 24 hours.
The four-day event is due to close tonight, Sunday, with roads expected to be busy in the morning as campers vacate the site.
