THE Grand Cocktail Bar on Bridge Street has received planning consent for a rooftop bar and terrace.
While plans were approved initially last December a further application has now been granted to allow the bar to open until 1 am with a fully retractable roof.
The terrace is expected to open later next year and will include an indoor and outdoor bar with a fireplace and a fully retractable awning.
The Grand was brought back into life in Spring 2021 following considerable investment in the former Co-op store building which had previously been the Fusion Sports Bar.
