More than 20 street parties planned to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III

A number of road closures will be in place across Warrington over the Bank Holiday weekend for more than 20 street parties celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III.

Warrington Borough Council has given notice that on the occasion of the above-mentioned event, no cart, carriage, motor car, lorry or other vehicle (excepting Police, Ambulance and Fire Service vehicles) and no horses or other animal be allowed to remain in or travel along or over any of the undermentioned streets:

Saturday 6th May 2023:
Albany Road, Lymm
Coronation Drive, Penketh
Denver Road, Latchford
Forbes Close, Birchwood
Hayley Road North, Burtonwood
Hill Top Road, Woolston
Mill Avenue, Sankey
Parkland Close, Appleton
Staines Close, Appleton
Tresham Drive, Grappenhall

Sunday 7th May 2023:
Cedar Grove, Latchford
Chaise Meadow, Lymm
Clarence Road, Grappenhall
Landseer Avenue, Latchford
Old Smithy Lane, Lymm
Parry Drive, Thelwall
Westbourne Road, Stockton Heath
Whitefield Road, Walton
Vincent Close, Old Hall

Monday 8 May 2023:
Barley Road, Thelwall
Kingsley Drive, Appleton

Bicycles and Tricycles are included in the term “vehicles” and must not be ridden through any of the above-named streets during the hours specified. Any person wilfully acting in contravention of the above order will be liable to a penalty not exceeding £400.
Vehicular access to premises will only be permitted under the guidance of the event organisers.
Pedestrian and emergency routes will be maintained.
