PLANS have been submitted to Warrington Borough Council for extensions to a veterinary surgeon’s clinic to accommodate a new operating theatre and prep room.
The proposed rear extension at Appleton Hall Veterinary Surgeon’s Clinic, in Dudlow Green Road, Appleton, would also provide a cold store and kennels.
It would increase the size of the premises by 40 sq.m.
The existing clinic is part of the Dudlow Green Road shopping centre, where there is an existing parking provision.
A report to be considered by planning officers indicates that the proposals are consistent with the existing use of the site.
The extension aims to offer enhanced health facilities and there will be no demonstrable harm to neighbouring amenities, visual amenities or highway safety.
In view of the above, it is considered to represent a suitable development proposal for the site.
Warrington Borough Council planning officers will now consider the proposals.
