Primary school to hold series of open mornings and afternoons

A SERIES of open mornings and afternoons is to be held at Statham Primary School, Lymm during October and November.

The first open morning at the Warrington Road school will be on Monday, October 17 from 9 to 9.30am to be followed on Wednesday, November 2 with an afternoon session from 2 to 2.30pm.
Further sessions will be held on Tuesday, November 8 from 9 to 9.30am and on Wedneday, November 16 from 1 to 1.30pm.
Head teacher Mrs Jane Rooney said: “Our school is strongly committed to an inclusive culture of respect and equality which enables all children to feel safe, secure, happy and empowered to learn.
“Come along to experience our school and forest environment, meet the team and find out more about what Statham can offer your child.”
OFSTED, in a 2018 report on Statham Primary said: “Parents referred to learning being inspirational, exciting and tailored to their children’s individual needs.
“The school’s motto, ‘inspiring all to learn, share and care’ is a clearly identifiable feature of its ethos. The same is true in relation to the culture of respect for diversity and equality, which prepares pupils well for life in modern Britain.”
