POLICE have increased patrols at a local park in the Poplars & Hulme area of Warrington, due to ongoing issues involving young people causing anti-social behaviour.

PCSOs have been around Brathay Close Park due to recent reports of anti-social behaviour. Officers will be continuing patrols around this area and letters will be sent out to parents if their children are involved in causing anti-social behaviour.

Parents are being urged to check on the whereabouts of their children and make them aware of the criminal age of responsibility and the impact their behaviour can affect the rest of the community.

It is the latest in numerous ongoing issues involving anti-social behaviour and young people at various parks across the town.
