THEY were cute, they were friendly and they were certainly welcome visitors at Keate House Care Home, Lymm – the Alpacas from Great Budworth Alpaca Walking.
Residents were really pleased to receive a visit from the cuddly Alpacas, along with Zig Zag the pygmy goat.
Visits from animals can often improve self-esteem and confidence in people with dementia and Keate House loves to have animals visit the home as it can be an energetic experience for residents and always creates so many wonderful smiles.
