Police probe after fire started outside house at Dallam

POLICE are investigating a suspected arson incident outside a house at Warrington shortly before midnight.

The blaze was outside a property in Bardsley Avenue, Dallam and firefighters from Warrington used a hose reel jet to extinguish it.

Earlier last night, a fire crew from Warrington when to Hawleys Lane, Dallam where a fire involving a quantity of waste materials was reported inside an unfurnished retail building.

A hose reel jet was used to extinguish the blaze.

Earlier, a fire caused by a tumble dryer was report in a brick outbuilding at a property in Windermere Avenue, Orford, Warrington.

The fire was out by the time firefighters reached the scene but they damped down the area to make it safe and cleared out the shed.
