Arsonists strike twice – and then again!

1

ARSONISTS are believed to have struck twice in central Warrington last night.
The two fires were in Bluecoat Street, Longford shortly after 9pm.
A fire crew from Warrington Fire Station was dealing with the first fire – involving a quantity of insulation material and cardboard outside a business unit – and were informing police that it appeared to have been started deliberately – when they were alerted to a second fire in the same street.
The second blaze involved a roller shutter.
A hose reel jet was used on the fires and firefighters ensured the scene of both incidents was made safe.
Police are investigating.
Shortly after 9.30pm, firefighters were called to another suspected arson incident, in Grounds Street, Orford, where a wheelie bin had been set alight. A water back pack was used by the crew.
Police were informed again.
It is not known if all three fires were linked
