Police to step up patrols following concerns over anti-social behaviour at Padgate

POLICE are stepping up patrols at Padgate, following problems with youths involved in anti-social behaviour at the Tidal Way subway.

Issues raised by residents on Valley Court when police were offering property marking kits to residents included anti-social behaviour involving youths at the neighbouring underpass.

Police will now step up patrols in the area in an attempt to curb the behaviour of youths and educate them to understand the consequences of their actions.

Parents are also being asked to speak to their children about anti-social behaviour and what unsociable behaviour can do to a community.

Meanwhile, on a positive note, local officers have given a special shout out to the lovely ladies at Sutton Trust food bank for the brew and doughnut, saying “they do an amazing job looking after the local community.”
