ONE more COVID-19 related death has sadly been reported at Warrington Hospital, although infection rates and hospital inpatient numbers are continuing to fall in the town.
Meanwhile, 240 (223) new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed by the UK Health Security Agency in the latest daily data, taking the total number of cases in Warrington since the start of the pandemic to 59,445 (59,205).
Infection rates over a seven-day period have fallen again to 1,856 (1,907) – 886.4 (910.7) per 100,000 population which are now below the national average of 949.2 (945.2) per 100,000, which have risen again.
While one more patient has sadly died Inpatient numbers have fallen again from 46 -43, including 1 in ICU, while another six patients were discharged.
